Busy Bee with a little frustation

It's getting busier and busier at work recently, mainly becuz everyone wants to get their stuff ready for the new school year.
One thing that strikes me is that working in a University, I "thought" ppl should be more organized. But apparently they are not.
I understand that they have other things to take care of during the Summer, but couldn't they at least be more prepared when they are asking others to do the work for them? And not so last minute?
Like they could have send the request for a new Web interface in the beginning of July, so that both ends would have enough time to make the best out of what we have. Instead, they send their request one week before school starts which is also the deadline.
Oh and bare in mind that we are not working one project at a time, usually we are working SEVERAL projects at the same time. So, with such a tight schedule, that gives us the minimal time to come up w/ a creative which also means the end result most likely will not be as good as if we actually have enough time.
The worst part is sometimes ppl have the illusion that creating a Web site is very easy. Yes, building a Web site is not that difficult if you don't care about usability, functionality and it's appearance.
I can build a Web site within an hour but it will look like crap and probably not very useful! Clients don't seem to recognize the fact that quality work takes an equal amount of quantity in time!!
Anyways, that's my little rant abt my work...lol

Saying Good Byes...

I think saying Good Bye never was an easy thing to do, or probably never will be depending on how close you are with that person.
I don't really know what to say, maybe some things should be kept in heart instead, cuz saying it might cause emotional disturbance?(is that how u say it?) lol...anyways so yeah, I wish the best of luck for you guys in your future. I know we'll be able to see each other again if we really want to. So in the end, I believe it all comes down to if you cherish the friendship or not.
I'm going to miss you guys, I hope I won't cry on the day of your departure...
I won't be able to talk to on msn when i'm bored,
I won't have someone to tell me jokes,
I won't have enough ppl to play mj with,
I won't have a house to go to when I don't feel like staying in my own,
I won't be able to go out w/ you when i want to do stuff,

uh oh...my boss is back today...what should i do, what should i do? or...what SHOULDN'T i do? ...lol...
I was planning to go to work early today knowing that my boss might be in a bit early as well...but being the usual me, I ended up 5 mins late...and when I walked in...she's already sitting there...sigh sigh sigh!
What a bad way to start off my day...*_*

Time flies...

Without really noticing it, this online blog has survived for over 3 years! I was looking at the Archives links on the right panel there and realized the first archive is all the way back to March 30, 2003!
Not to mention I was using the greymatter blog before this. Wow the past couple years of my life are all recorded here. I don't even write my diary anymore, there are probably spider webs all over it now...lol. Reading some of the past entries, they were mostly related to depressing stuff...such as school assignments, exams, family problems, emotional problems...etc etc.
So the question is, was that all my life was about back then? What happened to the exciting stuff? I have no recollection of those events...not in my brain nor in my blog. It's really sad that the past few years have came down to nothing but depression. Once again, it suggests the benefits of having a diary. So that you'll actually "remember" what you have done and what your life was all about.
From now on I think I'm going to write down every little things that happened so that I won't miss out any kodak moment of my life anymore.
