what is it with my parents and money...okay mainly it's my mom. Every conversation has to start, lead to or end with money. Seems like all my mom thinks about are $$. I find that REALLY annoying. I don't like the least bit of it. I'm so sick and tired of it to the point where I don't even want to talk to her. I made a mental note to myself that I'll never want to turn out to be someone like my mom...never!..LOL

I had a really weird dream last night. As usual, I couldn't remember the full details of my dream when I woke up the next morning. What I did remember was last night, I had dreams about zombies...-_-"
In the dream human were attacked by paper monsters, where the monsters would throw a triangular shaped paper at a person, and the paper would turn into some kind of weird "shell" like material and that person would turn into zombie like the rest of the monsters.
I think I was running away from those monsters along w/ my friends... and then the dream was getting too scary and I woke myself up. I was reluctant to fall back asleep...I dont' knwo why i had such a weird dream and it wasn't becuz i watched horror movies...becuz i don't watch them...anyways, just something to add to my "feeling weird?!" list. LOL
looking forward for the weekend! first week of school/work is almost done!!
oh and facebook is the new trend now...(or have been for awhile) lol...seems like everyone is joining it. I successfully got 2 of my frds to join! wahooo....must keep the circle expanding!!

Wow...suddenly it's already the first saturday of 2007, which means a week has passed. I'm very lucky to have the first week off, taking some rest between the transition.
Let's see what I have done these few days...I slept a lot, played a lot and watched a lot of TV!! Oh I think i'm falling in love with this kind of life style...but too bad it's ending in 2 days...lol...I went to sing k twice in one week, and a friend of mine was telling me that he doesn't like singing k anymore. Before I didn't have that feeling, but now i totally understand what he means...lol...twice a week is too much, maybe once a month is okay...lol...anyways...
I bought CSI season 6 on Wednesday and today is Saturday. So in two days, I managed to finish all 24 epidsodes of csi plus some other shows on the side!!! lol...
Actually, my holiday is quite eventful. I'm amazed how I can sleep so much while watch so much and play so much!! WOOT!!
I think I'm more open to meeting new ppl now, I actually didn't mind going to do something with only guys...lol...I surprised myself there too...I think I need to take on more opportunities and actually enjoy the interactions.
Come to think of it, I have wayyyy more male friends than female. A friend of mine once told me, when a girl has a bf, she will most certainly spend most of her time w/ the bf rather than her friends. Hence why I only have male friends left! LOL, that is very true. I agree 200%!! So does that mean on average, XY chromosomes values friends higher than XX chromosomes? LOL (ah...too much CSI in my head now...lol)

New Year's eve party @ Herman's was a blast! We played mj, wii sports, trivia, jenga, twister, sing k and mario kart! lol!!
The party started @ 4pm, but we weren't the first ones. Herman's other group of friends were there already and they were playing wii sports! So we watched a little and then migrated over to the mj table. We taught Carl, Bowie and Matt how to play taiwanese mj so maybe in the future we'll have more "legs"!! wahoo!
Of course the highlight of the night was me beating all the guys in Wii boxing!! woot!! I didn't do so well in golfing though...although in real life I think I'm much much better than that!! XP
Then we tried playing trivia pursuit, the game that Carl brought in. Oh my god...the questions on there...not even an average Canadian would know how to answer! We had to name people, provinces, and a bunch of other stuff and sadly, I couldn't answer a single question correctly...lol!! Mark, Matt and Gilbert were better than the rest of us though...hahaha...
After playing the "sitting" game, we decided to have some "Actions"!! lol...that's right! It's time for twister again!! The max you can have is 4 ppl but we thought that's still too many so we cut down to 3 ppl per game. First game Daisy, Bowie and I, of course I was the winner, no surprise there. lol!! Then Eric won the guy's contest and when we mix the two, I lost in the first few moves!!
For dinner, we had pizza, fried rice, fried chicken and shrimp chips. Herman was nice enough to over getting us dessert after. He's such a good host, he should do it again next time!!! LOL
After count down, we just sticked around to sing k and play mario kart until 4am in the morning...lol...so that's a total of 12 hours partying at Herman's house~ Crazy but FUN!!
